January is National Glaucoma Awareness Month and a great time to discuss your eye health. It’s a sobering statistic: Nearly half of the people with glaucoma don’t know they have it. [1] Glaucoma is a disease that damages your optic nerve and can eventually lead to blindness. But if you take action, get screened, and get treatment, you can save your eyesight. Because January is National Glaucoma Awareness Month, we at Horizon Family Medical Group want you to start the year off right and get your vision screening.
