April is National Donate Life Month and the perfect time to register for organ donation. If you’re already registered as an organ donor, it’s the perfect time to help us spread the word.
Did you know, for example, that a single organ donor can save up to 8 lives? [1] In New York, nearly 10,000 people are waiting for life saving organ transplants. [2] And only 18 percent of adults in the state are “enrolled in the NYS Donate Life Registry, compared to the national average of 42 percent.” [3]
